Most people don't celebrate Halloween here. Fortunately for us, our neighborhood holds an annual trick-or-treating night. Quite different from back in Utah where no costume is warm enough, here you literally melt inside your costume like a snickers bar in the Amazon.
Jonah and Cyrus stayed in their costumes just long enough for me to take these photos. They were completely off by the time I snapped the photos of Barbie Mariposa Savannah and Power Ranger Ashton (Yes, it's a "Flash" costume, but don't tell him that! It's the best I could find here! Glad he didn't notice all the Philippinos saying, "Hey, there's Flash!" and pointing to him all night!).
It was my first walk since having the baby, and with all 5 kids in tow, I was really grateful for Glessie's help pushing Cyrus and Jonah in the stroller. I was also really glad most houses passed out bags of candy rather than pieces so we didn't have to go to many houses to be satisfied! Rich was at a church meeting when we were out, but came home and took Ashton around to a few more houses later on.

Love that you are writing (in all your spare time Ha! Ha!), but where are the photos of the kids in their costumes? I'm in awe of your making Savannah's costume with 5 young children and a new baby to boot! You're amazing!

Finally got the photos. Yaaaaa! Unfortunately, seeing the photos just makes me want to hug those cute kids!! Guess now we need some updated photos of Henry as he's probably changing daily.
