We are still planning on having a combined b-day party for Jonah and Ashton with some friends, but our Saturdays have been a little too busy this month, so we're shooting for the first week of August. The week of his actual birthday, Ashton made these cute door signs, indicating which party game is to be played in each room (Ballet dancing for the girls in Savannah's room, Kung Fu Panda in Ashton and Jonah's room, Pretending to be cats in Cyrus' room, and Pirate sword-fighting in Dad and Mom's room). Although I think he may have switched his request to a cat cake, I thought it sweet that Ashton's initial request was to make a princess cake to make all the girl guests happy, while having the overall party theme be "Pirates".
Ashton has requested that I change this post. They will no longer be pretending to be cats in Cyrus' room. That room will not have a game in it.
