By the Pool

We spend most of the morning playing by the pool. It is amazing what a pool will do for a family. Ashton is now swimming in the deep end of the pool with no problems. He has also learned how to dive although most of the time he ends up bellyflopping into the water. When he pops out I ask, "Did that hurt?" His response is a bit suprising, "Was that good Dad?" I always answer that, "It was awesome!" Savanna and Cyrus like to float in the million blow-up toys that Jill bought and Jonah isn't afraid of the water like he was back at home.

The pool does raise some concerns with four little kids. The landlord did send over his handyman to build us our very own bamboo fence that locks so we can make sure none of the littleones wonder off and take a dip without Mom or Dad. Nevertheless, all of the kids have fallen in unintentionally and needed Mom or Dad to save them. We hope the others learn to swim really soon.

Jill is so great with the kids bring them juice and lunch to eat outside. During the day, I spend most of my time in the office which looks out over the pool so I can enjoy in the fun while working through the day. Our pools stays nice and clean as our pool boy that we hired for $70 a month comes and cleans it for us three times a week - He does an amazing job.

We love this house and it has been so much fun here in Cebu!
