Day at the Beach

We finally made it to one of the beaches here in Cebu. This beach is actually a resort called Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort. We are told that the best beaches are the resort beaches. The kids had fun playing in the water and sand. As you will note there are no waves here. Cebu is an enclosed island and therefore you will not find surfing or other extreme water sports. The picture of the dock was of Ashton and I. Ashton has become a good swimmer and we both swam out there. The Life Guards on duty didn't think that we could swim back so they kept throwing us a life saver. I kept reassuring them that we were just fine. It wasn't until they hit me with their boat and I pushed it away that they finally got the point. I guess they have never seen a six year old swim so well.
